Vanessa started her chocolate journey very early on, since from an early age the favourite snack she slipped into her school bag was the famous hazelnut bar with the elephant logo.
As she grew up, this passion for chocolate and cooking developed, she multiplied culinary trials in the family kitchen making cakes, pastries, yule logs…but always with chocolate of course.
In 2015, after a university course in management and a few years of experience in the banking sector, Vanessa decided to return to this love for chocolate by following an evening course as a chocolatier-confectioner.
Everything will follow very quickly; start of complementary freelance activity in 2016, small Christmas markets, company orders, etc.
Then in October 2018, she quit her job and started as an artisan chocolate maker by opening her own boutique-workshop near the European district of Brussels. It is in Etterbeek where she was born and raised that her chocolate factory is located and grows month after month.
In September 2021, Vanessa received the award for Chocolate Maker of the Year 2022 for the Brussels Capital region.
